Happy New Year! :D I'm here with updates about choir practices for the new year. Starting from this new year, 2009, we will be having our formal practices on Tuesdays (not Monday) and Thursdays from 3.30pm - 6.30pm. Our venues will tentatively be Seminar Room (Tuesday) and Monet Lab (Thursday). So next week, we will have our practices on Tuesday (6 Jan) and Thursday (8 Jan). Sec 2 and 3 members (2009) are to come earlier at 2.30pm to start your warm-up sessions. And remember, if you are absent without any valid reason, you gotta pay $5. Remember to bring your scores as well! xD Oh yes, and remember, if you are absent from choir for more than 4 times without a valid reason, then you have to pay $20 and you would get kicked out of choir. Merry Christmas!:D Anyway, i'm here with the updates for the upcoming choir practices:D from the email, accurate 26th Dec: 22 Dec (Mon) 8am - 1pm *30th Dec (Tues) 9am-1.30pm 2 Jan (Fri) 3pm - 5.30pm (tentative, might be pushed earlier if the timetable allow) 6 Jan (Tue) 2.30pm - 5.30pm 7 Jan (Wed) (not confirmed. Depending on the rehearsal on 6 Jan, Tue) *practice for SYF piece. Please do try to come for the practices as they are for the Sec One Orientation campfire performance and according to the new rule and a even new-er rule, choir practices will start 10 minutes before the reporting time written above and should you be absent without a valid reason, you will have to pay $5. so i know u all are sad because of the news but i need u guys to understand that it is not the principal's fault so dun jump to conclusions before u really understand the situation i duno if they are going to explain to u all tmr. i hope we can all keep an open mind on the new conductor dun judge her just by the name okay? and i hope u all dun misunderstand that i have sth against ms ong ms ong is great;D and i love her a lot okays? oh and try to return the gowns tmr if u cant return on the 30 dec or on the 1st choir practice in 2009 love ya;D ~evangeline |

and we sang. no. we SING. that's because we are CRESCENT CHOIR. we have soared above our limits, proven our very best. but we will not say die. we will not give up so easily. im sure you've seen the email, well, if you haven't check you inbox it's worth checking for, i'm serious it's been sudden and we're all sad but we're Crescent Choir, we learn to adapt i'm sure Miss Ong held/hold a very important place in our hearts this just can't be described in words and i can't write much as half my brain is in lalaland one last thing we can do, is to just remember the days we've spent with Miss Ong and keep in mind that singing will continue however adverse the situations may become Love, peipei(: |

I know how sad everyone is over this incident. But don't let this affect us too much. I am also very sad myself. Still, we must not let this bring us down. We have to continue to sing to our very best. I know that is is hard but we have to try. Oh yes, and to help, write a note on why you think that she should stay. Send it to juniper's yahoo mail. How do you find the new ALTO2s blog? Anyway, remember: On 16 Dec, the venues for practice are Monet Lab (9am - 3pm) and Seminar Room (3pm - 6pm). The earlier slots of Seminar Room have been booked. But if you find that no one is using that room in the morning, go ahead and use the room. On 30 Dec, the venue will be at Seminar Room from 9am - 1pm. IMPORTANT NOTE!
