okay...here goes 1. when you go up to stage tmr. relax, enjoy yourself and let the audience hear your sincerity in the songs... dont think about getting the gold. okay? if it was our best and we got a silver, so be it;D 2. remember to smile and love the sound that we are producing. even if we are out of tune, dont panic. smile.. look like that is how it is supposed to sound even if it's wrong 3. dont push your voice to sound louder. if that is the loudest u can go, do not sing any louder. it will cause the whole section to go out of tune and the voice will sound very constricted. 4. trust the person standing beside you that she will sing the correct thing. even if they make a mistake, smile even wider like how i do when pearlyn makes a mistake in diu diu dang a. 5. if you are interested in reading about thoughts of a conductor on other syf choirs, go to this website. you will see that the reason for not getting gold is because of going out of tune. http://www.sing4harmony.blogspot.com/ so altos, i know we can do it, stay really in tune so that the other sections will follow and give your best tmr.
